Hello there !!!

Welcome to my home page which is just an amateur effort made by me to express myself to the world.  I am very glad that you have taken enough interest to know about me (despite I'm no celebrity). My name is sreenivasa reddy anugu (isn' it mouthful?) but people call me seenu and with atleast half a dozen other names. I am doing Ph.D in Organic chemistry here in University of Nevada,Reno, USA. We are synthesizing analogs to an anti-HIV drug called CyclotriAzaDisulfonAmide(CADA). Let me give you a brief rundown about my life. I was born on July 28th, 1976 in Chityal (Nalgonda Dist) a small village in  India. I did my schooling in my home village in the lap of Indian rural culture. I had my college education (Intermediate and bachelors degree in science) in Ramannapet, a nearby town. At a stroke of good fortune in an entrance exam I joined Osmania University(~kalpatharuvu=the cornucopia),  Hyderabad one of nation's most established and traditional universities in India for my masters in Organic chemistry. Revealing the chinks in the National Eligibility Test, in my second year of masters, I was awarded CSIR/UGC-Junior Research Fellowship for pursuing 5 years of my Ph.D work in India. I resigned to that fellowship and came to US in 2001.
My father Chandra Reddy is a retired Telugu teacher and my mother Kamalamma is a house wife. I have two brothers Pradeep and Dharma who are elder to me. The person to whom I am most indebted in this wide world is my mother for innumerable reasons. My eldest brother Pradeep, who works as an Asst.Prof in Telugu literature is my best friend, guide and philosopher. DRAWING IN GRAPHITE AND CHARCOAL has  started taking lion's share in my leisure time. My goal is to achieve photorealism in my work (I' m only at the beginning of this process though). I would like  my portraits to have some  emotional impact  on viewer. I also pester folks around with my parodies and songs.  Inspite of being selfcentred, I have been fortunate enough to have a never ending list of friends at everystage of my life.

Let me conclude my long and soporific story by rendering thanks(congrats ?) to you for enduring my butchered English (15 years of my education had been in Telugu)

Endaro Mahanubhavulu Andariki Naa Vandanamulu.

(There are so many great people and my regards are due to each of them)
