Welcome to Second Star Cats! We specialize in dollface Himalayan & Persian kittens. Second Star Cats is located in Brookeville, Maryland, in Montgomery County, about mid-way between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.
*April 2009 Updates*
We are expecting several litters of kittens during the month of April, in both Persian and Himalayan colors.
We will update the Nursery section as each litter is born, but if you are especially interested in getting a Second Star kitten, please email us with your name, contact info, and any specifics you are looking for in a kitten. We will allow visits and deposits on kittens between 4-6 weeks of age, and we release beginning at 10 weeks.
*We do have one copper eyed black Persian adolescent kitten still for sale. She's a lovely girl with the thickest, most silky coat you've ever felt. She has a huge purr and adores attention. She would be wonderful for a home looking for a quiet Persian that is wonderful company. She loves her kitty companions, but I also think she could adjust to being a single cat if she had loving owner. Adopting a Second Star kitten ensures that you are getting a kitten who has had constant individual attention and TLC from the moment they are born. We are a small, cageless cattery, where all of our cats and kittens are treated as one of the family.
Each and every one of our kittens is unique and special to us, and we devote ourselves to their care. We know we can't keep them all (as much as we'd like to), so we are dedicated to finding them the best possible homes, and make a special effort to match each kitten with a family that fits its unique personality, ensuring that both you and your new kitten will have a happy relationship.
As responsible breeders, we would sooner take permanent responsibility for one of our kittens, before placing them in a home where we were not confident that they would thrive and have people who would give them the love and attention that they all deserve.
