Our specialty is Big Band Swing music from the 40's, 50's & 60's with the rich harmonies & beautiful melodies of Glen Miller, Johnny Mercer, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton and many others. The BB's "SWING EXPRESS" has a repertoire of over 200 big band standards and performs with 9-14 musicians depending on the occasion. The "Swing Express" is available for Wedding Receptions, Private Parties, Corporate Functions, Festivals, Community Events, Conventions, Proms, Fund Raisers, Dinner Dances, and Holiday Parties
The lead
players of the "Swing Express" also perform as The "JAZZ EXPRESS", our improvisational
quintet. You can dance or just relax and enjoy the most popular 'jazz standards' from the 40s-60s. Previous venues in Savannah, GA include
performances at The Westin Savannah Harbor Resort, The Landings, The Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum and St. Gregory Park.
Our fee is competitive and we will be happy to provide references! We look forward to entertaining you...bring your dancing shoes!!
