               Dottie & Susie April 1986
I found Dottie (my birthmother)  in April 1985. We met the following April and went camping at the Grand Canyon.  We had fun cooking and getting to know one another.  I was amazed at how much we had in common!  Her husband just kept looking at me and telling me I look just like Dottie 30 years ago!   Dottie was born in Enid, Oklahoma 9/1927.  She lived in Tulsa until she passed away February 26, 2003.
Her name was Dorothea Mae Small

(Best was her maiden name)

My birthname was Cheryl Ann Clay. Birthfather is Charles Monroe Clay Jr..
Born in Sherman, Texas - May 5 , 1920. He now resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I was told he and his wife Libby have two sons.
I was told by Lela, his sister from Sherman, that our ancesters are Scotch, Dutch and French.
Charles refuses any contact so far.

I am going to submit an application to the
Colorado Voluntary Adoption Registry.
to see if they can match me with my brother if he has  registered.

I have registered with every site I can find, I have tried search Angels who have been so wonderful and supportive and helpful in every way possible but at this point  my only other option at this point is to go through the
CCIS.
There is a $600.00++ charge for this service, but there is no guarantee that your family will be found and the fee is non-refundable.
Please email me if you have any other ideas or suggestions.
