Scouts of Namibia
Scouts of Namibia is a voluntary, independent, non-political, non-governmental, non-profit educational movement for youth of both genders.
The Aim of Scouts of Namibia is to bring Scouting to the youth of our country, making it available to all on a voluntary basis in order to contribute to their development as useful, responsible and socially conscious citizens.
We aim to achieve this through the Scout Youth Programme by:
· promoting their spiritual growth and moral development;
· developing their individuality, self-confidence and character;
· training them in useful skills and promoting their health and fitness;
· encouraging them to be of service to the community;
· helping them appreciate and protect nature and to adapt to their natural environment;
· encouraging them to further peace, unity and goodwill in Namibia’s diverse society.
