Welcome to the Scottville Police Department
The Scottville Police Department serves the approximately 1200 citizens of the City of Scottville.  Scottville is located on U.S. 10 near North U.S. 31 in Mason County, Michigan.  Our Department is manned by a working chief and two full time patrol officers.

Scottville PD is headed by Chief Larry Nichols. Chief Nichols has 23 years experience in law enforcement all with the City of Scottville.  Chief Nichols conducts complaint investigation and patrol as well as making sure the Department runs smoothly from day to day.  Chief Nichols believes in a strong program of community oriented policing which fits well with our City.

Officer Jason Williams has served Scottville for over 4 years with 7 years experience in law enforcement.  Officer Williams also served 4 years as a Military Police Officer with the United States Air Force.  Officer Williams takes primary care of the property checks of local businesses and residences.
