Scoot-Tours
Club History
Scoot-Tours was started in 1988 by Bob and Sally Reinhardt of St. Louis, Mo. They were Helix owners and were looking for others to ride and share information with. Letters were written to motorcycle magazines soon produced other scooter riders. There were so many answers to their letters that they decided to start a club and newsletter. The club has grown over the years beyond anyone's expectations. The name Scoot-Tours came from the fact that they love to ride and tour.
Scoot-Tours is a non-profit organization devoted to scooter riders and the promotion of scooter riding and touring. Scoot-Tours is chartered with District 18 of the American Motorcyclist Association. Membership is open to ALL motorcycle riders and their families.
Conventions & Member Gatherings
SCOOTERCADE has been chosen as the official name of our national rally.  The rally gives all members the chance to come together to ride and trade information.  Having all those scooters together in one place is a beautiful sight.  Our only sanctioned activity is the National Rally.

We encourge members to get together for rides, touring, camping or just a monthly meeting.  The only restriction is that the event cannot be billed as a SCOOT-TOURS event.  This is due to sanction, insurance and the fact that we cannot monitor all activities.

This should not keep members from coming together to enjoy riding and other activities. We try to meet with members whenever possible.  If you are coming to our area, let us know and we will make every effort to meet you.
Accessories & Related Items
Through SCOOT-TOURS you will have access to accessories and other information for your bike.  Some of these items are sold by members, others by private vendors.
AMA & MSF
Scoot-Tours supports the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), and is a chartered club.  We also support the MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) and recommend taking their courses.
