| Synopsis - Edward Scissorhands is the story of an outcast. Made by a fanatical inventor, Edward is not quite human, not quite machine. In the process of being created he was left unfinished when the inventor died before giving him hands. Edward continued to live in the old mansion where he was created, incomplete and all alone ... until one day the local Avon representative, Peg Boggs, was working her rounds and caught sight of the Mansion in her review mirror. Having already had an unsuccessful day, Peg decided to visit the Mansion, where she discovered Edward. Realizing that he was harmless, Peg took Edward home to live with her. At first, Edward was excepted by the community, but unfortunately the neighborhood was not as embracing as it first appeared... As things start to go wrong, Peg realises that Edward may never be accepted in a world that doesn't understand the different.... Edward Scissorhands is a beautifully crafted film and I reccomend it to people everywhere. |
