LAHRR is a 100% non-profit organization*. We are funded solely by donations made by caring people like you who are committed to making a difference. We are staffed only with volunteers. With your contribution, and others like you, combined with our commitment to care for LAHRR's residents, we are all part of a team that is able to continue helping those who cannot help themselves, The Champions. Our Champions come from diverse backgrounds. Some from racing, others were for show, while others were devoted pets and companions who, for whatever reason, were unable to remain in their homes. No matter their origins, they all had one thing in common: they devoted 100% of themselves to serving as they were expected to do. At LAHRR, we feel they deserve the same devotion now that they have surpassed what some think of as their "useful years".
We believe that you share our feelings in this regard and ask that if at all possible, please help us to continue to meet the needs of our Champions by making a tax deductible donation. All donations are deeply appreciated and are used exclusively for keeping and treating the horses under the care of LAHRR.
