The Trefoil Guild enables members to establish or maintain links with Guiding. It provides friendship, fun and activities for its members as well as support for the Movement and the community.

The Trefoil Guild is part of Girlguiding UK, but is registered as a separate charity and is independently ministered.  There is no upper age limit to membership.  Members do not wear uniform.  Members of the Trefoil Guild pay an Annual Subscription which includes Insurance whilst on Guiding activities and "Trefoil" magazine. The Trefoil Guild  is over 40 years old.   In Wiltshire South there are four Guilds.

Sarum Guild meet on the first Tuesday of each month (except June and January) at the St George's Hall, Harnham  at 7.30pm.  In June we often have an outing or a garden meeting, and in January we go out for our "Christmas Lunch"

Tea and coffee are served each meeting for which a small charge is made.

We often have a speaker, or slides at the meeting, and occasionally have a craft evening or other informal activity.  An annual programme is issued to members.

We have various ongoing activities throughout the year. We support a West London Family Centre in a multi-ethnic area of London by knitting garments for Children aged 3 - 8 years.  These are collected and taken to London each November.

A collection box for Lulworth Court, an organisation supporting holidays for the disabled, is available each month for members to put spare change in.  This is sent to the charity annually in October.

A Bring and Buy stall is run each month to raise funds for the Guild.  Sometimes we also have a fundraising activity for a good cause.

Activities are arranged at other times too.  For example visits to the theatre or to see cookery demonstrations.

We sometimes visit "Berwick" for an afternoon in the summer, and are invited to activities run by other Trefoil Guilds in Wiltshire South.

In addition, it is planned that a weekend event for members within Wiltshire South will be run each year.  You are warmly invited to attend or to come for a day.

Sarum Trefoil Guild have introduced optional navy blue sweatshirts and polo shirts.

On joining, in common with all Wiltshire South Guilds, you will be sent a Membership Information Form.  The information will only be used within our own Guild.

The Committee always welcomes support, ideas and comments about our activities.  We particularly want to know what went well or what we need to work on.  Ideas for speakers or an enthusiasm for a particular charity are always appreciated.
