I'm still in the process of updating the site, and I apologise that it has been so long! I'm not good at programming and don't have a lot of spare time on my hands. So please bear with me and be patient if things aren't quite right!
Welcome! On these pages I am gradually detailing everything I know about snails, particularly Giant African Land Snails. You can find a whole host of information about snails and how to keep them as pets together with loads of pictures. Of course, this site cannot possibly cover all species of snail, but you will find information on commonly kept African snails such as Achatina fulica, Achatina marginata and Achatina achatina, as well as some information on a selection of the less common species from Africa and elsewhere, plus information on some of the most commonly found British snails.
From this page you can access detailed information on how to care for snails, some of my research into the diseases and injuries suffered by snails, and plenty of pictures and fascinating facts, as well as specific pages for a selection of species of snail.
