| These pages illustrate the trip I made to the Pacific Northwest over Memorial Day Weekend, 2001. In particular they show some of the Cascades Mountains and Mount St Helens. I am currently taking an online geology course (GEOSCI 1030) through Weber State University's (Ogden, Utah) WSU Online program. In this course we study earthquakes and volcanoes and their effects on the world around us. I mentioned to the professor Dr Ben Dattilo that I would be traveling to the Seattle Area over the holiday weekend. He suggested that if my schedule allowed to make a trip to Mount St. Helens. I was able to do that, and some of the photos from that trip are included here. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have creating them!! By posting these photos here I state that these photos are of my own creation and are free to the public domain for personal and/or educational use. Please don't publish these photos for profit. Thank you!! Sara Hussong |
