| Every year Jim and I try to get away for at least a month. Sept/Oct 2005we went to Europe. London, England; Paris, France; Geneva, Swizerland; Lake Como, Italy; Monarola, Italy; Venice, Italy; and Hintersmedler, Germany. While in Germany we also did day trips to Prague and Salzburg. In july 2006 we went to Paris and did a river cruise from Lyon. December 2006 we went to St Marteen. In 2007 we went to the big island of hawaii, London to celebrate our daughters high school graduation, a trip to New York city which included a few nights up the hudson valley, a day trip to Philidelphia and a few days in Maryland. In the fall we did another road trip visiting Palm desert, Joshua trees, Death valley, Owens valley, Bristlecone, Yosemite, Bodie, Columbia, Las Vegas. In 2008 we will stick closer to home. We are planning trips to Maui, Mexico, Kauai, and a mexican cruise. |
