Annual UMW Women's Banquet 2007 "Girls' Nite Out"

The highlight at this years banquet was honoring a long-time church and UMW member, Estelle Brown, for all of her dedication to the women and children of our congregation and community.  Linda Shaw presented her with a framed certificate and lovingly shared thoughts and membrances about Estelle and her life in the church.  Estelle will also be awarded a special UMW pin.  Rev. David also shared a few words about Estelle. All the ladies in attendance were able to enjoy a homemade meal prepared by our UM Mens group and enjoy in fellowship.  There were games, girls' dress-up and nail painting, Creative Memory scrapbooking and Mary Kay demonstrations, hand massages, Yoga workshop, a demonstration on Maryland native plants, and even an old-fashioned cakewalk! Thanks to all who participated in making this year's Women's Banquet a great success!!
