Sapphyre's Designer Jewellery has been in operation since 2005, however the principal designer, Colleen, has been designing jewellery since 2003.

Sapphyre's philosophy is to use high quality materials and methods in the making of contemporary and classic pieces. You can have genuine stones with sterling silver for a fraction of the retail value. With no overhead costs, our pieces do not carry the same retail price that is found in a jewellery store. Bear in mind that rental costs and staffing can run a store into the thousands each month, most of the purchase price of their pieces goes to paying these expenses. After that, you still have to cover the cost of materials. Buying directly from the artisan avoids costs such as staffing, store front, inventory storage and utilities.
