Race For Terre Bluff
Emil Lampost and Harland Fell compete for the Mayor's office in Terre Bluff, Kentucky.  Harland joins the race because he has a vision for his hometown, and brings to the table a budget that includes a much needed government center and a new park, with no tax increase.  Emil's only asset is that he resembles Steve Martin, and he's in the race because his father wants him there, qualified or not.
After Emil's yard signs and bumper stickers show up in the most unlikely places (Harland's yard and car for example), and the police and local paper harass everyone connected to Harland, broadcast journalist Fiona Caramy joins Harland's campaign in an attempt to offset the Lampost takeover.
What should be an easy, landslide victory for Harland Fell turns into an uphill battle, riddled with threats so absurd the voters simply shake their heads and say, "That could never happen here".
Will they wake up in time to save Terre Bluff, or will they sit back and let it happen?

"A hilarious insight to the world of politics and campaigns, and it is embraceably relevent in light of recent events.  Emil is written wonderfully stupid.  Sandy has a real talent for displaying how any politican, with or without a brain, can control the masses and slip by the blind voter."
