| Welcome to the homepage of 2nd Rugeley Hillsprings Scout Group, in the Cannock Chase District of Staffordshire in England. The group consists of almost 100 members from the Beavers, to the Cubs, us - The Scouts and our brand new Explorer Group. The scout troop has aroud 25 'permanent' members (you'll know what I mean if you are a youth leader) We are mixed, even though we don't refer to boys and girls we just have SCOUTS. However you can tell them apart the boys love cooking and the girls do pioneering!! Seriously everybody does everything together and we are all one big happy family. | Start your journey through the site when you click on SammyScout below- Oh! - have I introduced you yet? he is our mascot You will find out exactly who he is and his theme song on his own page. He has been with us for years and we can't get rid of him - not that we want to mind. He does appear in the new uniform occasionally, but he still wants to get his wear out of the old one first. From Sammy's page you can tour the site - and then the world of scouting by clicking on the various links around the site. You will however have to use the 'Previous page' key to get back from some of the areas. Don't forget to sign the guestbook and leave Sammy a comment. Or you can email him at smf@ntlworld.com. |
| More features are planned for the site including Hillsprings guide to Campfires and comments from the scouts themselves on activities, camps and events throughout the year. It's also hoped that a network of websites can be set up throughout the group, by the scouts themselves which can be linked together, perhaps as a part of their IT badge - That's assuming they don't scrap it in March. |
