Who are the members of the Miami Turtle Clan? Any descendent from the union of Susie Mongosa and George W. Marks are members of the Turtle Clan. All spouses and adopted children are considered part of the Turtle Clan. Political preference of individuals does not apply in the Turtle Clan. Activities of the Turtle Clan will not be politically oriented. Traditions, culture, and Spirituality will be the focus of our interactions. Whether you are a Miami Oklahoma or Miami Indiana, you are from the Marks' family. We are here to unite to keep our culture and traditions alive and active by teaching our young. All are welcome who have an open mind and heart. Miami Turtle Clan Goal: The Miami Turtle Clan goal is to educate the members of the Turtle Clan in the history, tradition, and culture of their Miami heritage as well as forming a community based on communication.
