Row 1: tr in 4th ch from hook, tr in each of next 48 ch, 6 tr in next ch, tr in each of next 48 ch, 4 tr in same ch as first tr, ss to 1st ch.
Row 2: 4 ch, 9 dbl tr in 4th st, *skip 4 sts, 8 dbl tr in next st*, repeat from * to * 9 times, skip 4 sts, 10 dbl tr in next st, repeat from * to * 10 times, ss in 4th ch.
Row 3: ss in 1st tr, ss in next st, 5 ch, skip 4sts, ss in next 2 st, *3ch, skip 3 sts, ss in next 5 sts*, repeat from * to * 9 times, 3 ch skip 3 sts, ss in next 2 sts, 5 ch, repeat from * to * 10 times, ss in beg ss.
Row 4: Ch1, work 12 dc into 5 ch lp, dc in next 2 ss, *8 dc into 3 ch lp, dc in each of next 5 ss* repeat from * to * 9 times, 8 dc into 3 ch lp, dc in each of next 2 ss, 12 dc in 5 ch lp, dc in each of next 2 ss, repeat from * to * 10 times, ss to beg ch 1.
Fasten off.
Weave in loose ends.

Block: this pattern may have very curly edges, so it is important to block to pull out and flatten the loops.)

ASSEMBLY: Attach Butterfly to one end of the bookmark, leaving the wings opened or closed.
