Butterfly Bookmark
I first made this bookmark with a butterfly taken from a pattern in an old booklet of my mother's (When I check the name and date I will post it). Then people wanted thepattern and not wanting to infringe anyone's copyright, I designed a new butterfly...one I actually like better too than the original. I decided to make this, my first original design available (for FREE) to visitors to my site, as appreciation to all those wonderful designers whose patterns I have been able to access online free of charge.
The pattern for the Butterfly is separate.
This was made for the Crochet Partners Design Challenge 2002. I used size 20 cotton thread and a 1.10mm hook. It was supposed to be a Trinidad and Tobago bookmark since I made it on August 31st, our Republic Day, but I had no RED to make up the Red, White and Black. Maybe when I do it again.!!
This was also made for the Crochet Partners Design Challenge 2002. I used size 20 white cotton thread with one strand gold metallic sewing thread and a 1.25mm hook. I added some gold beads, one at each point and four just before each of the tassels. Pattern coming soon!!
