I was privileged to be invited to judge the 45th Championship Show for the English Springer Spaniel Association of NSW and the English Setter Club of NSW Championship Show in April 1995.
I achieved panel status for the Toy Group in 1992, and had the pleasure of judging the WA Toy Dog Specialist Club's Championship Show in May 1996, as well as judging the Toy Group at the Northern Classic Kennel Club of Queensland Championship Show in August 1996, where my Group winning Bichon was later selected as Best Exhibit In Show under Mr L Oosthuizen from South Africa, himself a Miniature Pincher breeder.
I have adjudicated over the Toy Group on several occasions, including the Port Adelaide Kennel Club’s Championship Show in Adelaide in 2000, where I also judged Spaniels & Retrievers and General Specials for the Gundog Club of South Australia’s Championship Show, and at the Inaugural Championship Show for the Hungarian Vizsla Club of South Australia.
Other recent contracts have included the South Australian Chihuahua Club’s Championship Show in September 2001, and at the Inaugural Gundog Club of WA’s ‘Gundog Gala’ in April 2002.
I am currently studying for my Non-Sporting Group licence.
United Kingdom
I was invited to judge at a number of Open Shows during my trip to the United Kingdom in January and February 1997, assessing a number of working breeds at Bridgnorth & Districts Canine Society, toy breeds at North Wales Toy Dog Society, a variety of breeds [including Lowchens, English Springers, and Chihuahuas] as well as Best In Show at Halifax & Districts Canine Society, and several working dog breeds and Group Specials at Easington Peterlee & District Canine Society.
