Shauntai is a tough and quick defender who has a lot of collegiate playing experience, but not as a Rutgers player. Shauntai has to sit out after transferring from Penn State in 1997 and sat out last season due to an ACL injury. Hall netted her first four points 'On the Banks' in Rutgers victory over Pittsburgh on 12/8/99 and she played a season high 10 minutes vs. Syracuse.

1998-99 Season

Did not practice or compete after suffering a serious knee injury, in which she tore her left ACL

Earned the Coaches’ Award at the annual team awards banquet.

1997-98 Season

Practiced with the team but did not compete due to NCAA transfer rules.

Penn State Career

Played two years at Penn State under head coach Rene Portland

 Started 20 games for the Lady Lions in 1996-97

Second-leading scorer with 9.7 points per game

 Averaged 19 minutes per game and added 3.5 rebounds

Played in 25 games and started one as a freshman

Missed three weeks in December due to a stress fracture in her right foot.

Prior to Penn State and Rutgers

USA Today high school honorable mention All-American

At Gallantin High School, averaged 30.5 points, 16.7 rebounds and shot 61 percent from the field as a senior

1995 USA Today Pennsylvania Player of the Year

Honorable mention Street & Smith all-American

1990 Junior Olympic Tae Kwon Do champion

Appeared in Sports Illustrated’s "Faces in the Crowd" Feb. 4, 1991 for her basketball and Tae Kwon Do achievement

Shauntai , born March 21, 1978, is the daughter of Tom and Vi Hall.

Her major is administration of justice.
