This Christmas Season, I bought KAPUSO SA PASKO, a Christmas album by GMA Records. Some of the songs na nagustuhan ko pagkatapos kong pakinggan ay - "Merry Christmas, Darling" by Jolina Magdangal, "It's Christmas All Over The World" by Jennylyn Mercado, "Someday at Christmas" by Sipol, "It's Just Anothet New Year's Eve" by Yasmien Kurdi, at siyempre, ang "Pasko ng Kapuso" by Jolina Magdangal.

Christmas Edition Ito!!! Hehehe. Holidays nanaman. So, expect na matao. Siyempre, I tried makisiksik (hindi sa Divisoria) sa ilang places na puntahan kapag Holidays! Simulan natin sa Noel Bazaar sa World Trade Center. It was my first time then to go to World Trade. For the benefit yon ng GMA Kapuso Foundation so there were GMA Artists there na nakita kong nagtitinda like Janice De Belen. In fairness, may mga nabili naman ako. Hehe. Then I watched out again for another Christmas Bazaar, sa World Trade pa rin. Yun naman yung World Bazaar and sa pagkakaalam ko eh for the benefit of Bantay Bata 163 naman og ABS-CBN. Actually, I planned to go all by myself lang then nahatak ko si John-John, then later on, sumama na rin sina Charlie, Princess, Millan, Mark So, Justine, Vanny and Abby. And sila pa ang mas maraming nabili kaysa sa akin. Hehe. Ang nabili ko lang doon ay isang pabango na pinagpilitan pa sa akin nung babae na bilhin ko. Hehe. Siyempre, di mawawala ang malls. Glorietta, Landmark, Greenbelt at SM Makati. Siyempre, malapit lang naman sa school. Napadpad rin kami sa SM Megamall, kasama naman ni Romulo. Happy rin ako dahil because of James' birthday, we had the chance to meet and stroll around the mall (my ever dearest high school friends!) - James, Kim, Rovy, Darvin, John-John at ako. And it was a very happy day to be with my friends! 21st birthday rin ni Mark So kaya nagpunta kami sa bahay nila dahil may celebration. There we also had our exchange gifts. Nabunot ko si Leslie while ang nakabunot naman sa akin ay si Jopet. Masaya kahit medyo bankrupt na ako... Hehe. Iniisip ko na lang na for the spirit of Christmas na lang. Eh once a year lang naman ito diba? And happy naman eh.

This year, halos lahat ng album na nagustuhan ko ay all-revival album. From last year, I continued listening to Mandy Moore's "Coverage", where I really liked "Mona Lisa and Mad Haters" and "Senses Working Overtime". Kasama na rin siyempre ang "Recycle Deluxe II" by The Company where ang gustong gusto ko naman eh ang "Trying To Say Goodbye". This year, nadagdagan ang aking collection. Simulan natin sa "Recycle Deluxe I" by The Company of course. Siyempre dapat kompleto. "Hardcore Poetry" naman ang pinakagusto ko doon. Sinundan rin yun ng "Mahal Kong Radyo" by The Company pa rin. And talagang nakakaaliw ang version nila ng "Bulaklak" with Ms. Bella Flores. Isa pang must-buy album ay ang "Covers Uncovered" by Aiza Seguerra where ang gustong gusto ko naman ay ang "Power of Two" naman. Though marami naman talaga ang magagandang songs, as well doon sa mga namention ko earlier. Then, Regine Velasquez released another all-revival album which is entitled "Covers", where "Araw-Gabi" naman ang pinakagusto ko. Then ang latest na binili ko kahit di ko siya kilala ay ang "Songs Rediscovered" by Jed Madela. Di ko siya kilala but maganda yung mga tracks so I tried it and di naman ako nagsisi.

Hay, parang kailan lang at ito nanaman, Pasko nanaman. Ang bilis ng panahon! Pero this Christmas, medyo late ko ng na-feel ang Christmas dahil sa dami ng mga ginagawa sa school - kasama na ang mga deadlines, project sa specialization and thesis. Honestly, there were times na talagang nakakaiyak na. As in parang wala na akong nakikitang liwanag sa ginagawa ko. Pero thanks to God because nakakasurvive naman ako kahit papaano. It was a hell term kung ipapadescribe sa akin. The worst so far. Pero in the end naman happy naman. Yun na lang ang iniisip ko. Yung consequences na mangyayari kung pagbubutihan mo naman. Sabi rin nila na unti unti na rin raw nawawala ng spirit of Christmas. Dahil raw sa lumalalang kahirapan sa bansa. Pero kung iisipin mo naman diba, hindi naman talaga kailangan ang pera para maging masaya ang Pasko. In the first place, ano ba talaga ang rason kung bakit may Pasko? Sabi rin nila na ang Pasko ay para sa mga bata.

Medyo malungkot rin ang mood ng Pilipinas dahil sa pagpanaw ng Hari ng Pelikulang Pilipino na si Fernando Poe Jr. Medyo kontrobersyal talaga kasi kakatapos lang ng elections. Pero ika nga, ibang usapan yung sa pulitika. Yung iba siguro ayaw siyang maging presidente ng bansa pero naniniwala sa kabaitan ng tao. Then meron ding news about naman sa daughter ni Jose De Venencia. Namatay naman dahil sa sunog, dahil sa naiwang Christmas lights. Then news rin about sa apo ni Dolphy na namatay.

Talagang malungkot ngayon ang mood sa Pilipinas. Pero hopefully, next year will be a better one. And sana makarecover ang lahat. Sana makapagcelebrate ang lahat ng Pasko ng maayos...

Siyempre, my greetings ay para sa lahat, na sana maging happy ang Christmas nating lahat. Sana alam na natin kung ano ba talaga yung sinasabing tunay na diwa ng Pasko. Thank you sa taong nagdaan, sa mga pagsasamahan, sa mga kasiyahan, ,sa mga kalungkutan, hanggang sa lahat ng kahirapan. I hope na ang susunod na tao ay maging napakaganda para sa ating lahat.
