1. Richard1 Carlton1,2,1 was born on 8 January 1712/13 in Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 He and Hannah Hutchins were married on 29 August 1738 in Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts.2,3,4 He died on 30 October 1758 in Tolland County, Connecticut, at age 45.2

Richard Carlton (1712/3-1758) moved to an area north of Methuen and Haverhill. Later, he became a taxpayer in Salem, New Hampshire in 1741; signed a petition to Gov. Wentworth of New Hampshire to form a separate township of those parts of Haverhill and Methuen that lay within the borders New Hampshire in 1742. At the first town meeting of Salem, New Hampshire, Richard was named on a committee to survey highways. The family moved to Tolland County, Connecticut, before 1751 where he died in 1758.2
Hannah Hutchins5,5,5 was born on 1 May 1717 in Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts.2,6,5 She and Isaac Heath were married on 11 March 1763 in Tolland, Tolland County, Connecticut.3
