Subject : About this week
Message : As we fight back the tears and rage, and support the heroic teams at Ground Zero in any way we can (even from abroad), it's time to come together and reassert the values that have been at the core of the Lycée community for
nearly seven decades:diversity , openness, and acceptance of different cultures, languages, and beliefs. Now more than ever, as Alumni we must defend these priceless treasures against the forces of Darkness.
We weep for the victims and their families, but we also realize what a tremendously difficult task lies ahead for Lycée parents and staff: the task of making sure that those values will live on in our children's generation.

Message : Dear all of you over in the US, who have lived, whether by far or close, too close, this horrible act of villany, please receive sincere thoughts of compassion, as I feel deeply afflicted, although luckily, no close ones have disappeared.
I hope others like François Dumontet have gotten their way out in time. History shows mankind is also able to be good and caring and loving. I love this city and wish all of you, little by little,
will be able to manage your ways back to a more serene and normal life. Love from Paris. Fabrice

Subject : Terrorism in the USA

Message : Dear friends in N.Y, I just wanted to let all the New Yorkers who have been so terribly touched by this tragedy know that the people here in Europe and in Geneva more specifically are with them with all their hearts.
Having lived so many years in NY, I was in total shock when I saw the television films showing my wonderfull city in complete destruction and the visions of the people suffering and dying will stay forever in my mind.
My heart goes out to all of you and especially to all the families who have lost a loved one in this tragedy. I hope that your country and your people will rise as one to fight terrorism where ever it may be.
We are all concerned and we are all with you. Americains and Europeens, and people of all the world must now unite and say "Never again".

Message: We were all very deeply touched in France last week. My company (AIRBUS) just made a donation a few days ago for the NY and Washington victims of 2 million Dollars, but this is just a drop in an ocean. On a personal
point of view, I believe that this is a time of unprecedented sorrow and a challenge to the values we share and cherish. This was an assault on innocent citizens of a world which must defend its freedom.
