My 87 Ford Bronco II started off bone stock rusted and in desprate need of some TLC. The first thing I noticed was that I hated the color (baby blue and white w/ rust), so it got a nice fresh paint job (Dodge viper blue). The paint job cost a huge amout of 50 bucks. Then I got a lift kit off a junk yard BII. Now my truck had some height and looks but the tranny whined and the clutch went out, so i replaced it 3 times!!!! (bad napa clutch and i keep replacing everything elses not the clutch) Thats when I gave up on the clutch and decided to go to an auto. I was also wanting to build up the 2.9 when I got the idea to just throw a 302 in with a AOD backing it up. Thats when the truck went from daily driver to trailer trash. It now has the solid full width front Dana 60 and full width, full floter ford 10.25 rear, which i welded up. It runs duel cases and full exo cage and doved tailed front and rear. |
