She pens non-fiction magazine articles and reviews as well as fictional short stories. Holding a BS degree in English, she is proficient at proofreading, editing, and ghostwriting.
Jean is a member of the Burlington Writer's Club, Toastmasters International, the American Business Women's Association, and formerly of the Alamance County Rescue Dive Team.
On the second Thursday of each month, you'll find Jean reading her poetry at May Memorial Library in Burlington.
She finds volunteering in her local public schools a rewarding experience, and encourages others to do so.
Need a public speaker for your next group function? Jean is also available for public speaking engagements to inform and entertain. Currently she can only accept assignments in North Carolina.
When not vacationing at the coast, you can find her in Burlington, NC with her husband, Thomas, and favorite furry friend, Maxie.
