Engagement at Roundstone Farm Marlboro VT Sept. 23,24,25th 2005

A campaign style event for c/h/p Federal and Confederate reenactors of New England!  The site boasts over 280 acres of pristine Vermont Farmland with old log roads, rolling hills, running streams,ponds pine groves and heavily wooded wilderness. This area is free of any modern intrusions and should afford the participant the ability to step back in time and leave the modern world behind.

The goal of the event is to provide a campaign field experience for the soldier. In keeping with this philosophy it is our intent to have: *Period issued rations *Guard Mount and picket duties *Fatigue duty *Possible Breastwork construction *Marching at any given moment (may  include a night scenario) *No fixed camps *Skirmish and brushes with the enemy *Possible capture of prisoners and other interactions between the troops.

Registration and release of liability forms will be sent out to individuals rather than unit's as this is an invitation only event. If you would like your mess to be considered for participation please contact me at rob_6thnhvi@yahoo.com It is not our intention to appear snobbish or elite but in order to maintain our goal of a high level of authenticity and attracting like-minded living historians the event will be closed to civilians, spectators and female soldiers that can not conceal their gender properly. *Quality Gear is required for attendance and canvas will be limited to shelter halfs or shebangs.
