UTSA Powerlifting
ABOUT US:

We are the official powerlifting team of the University of Texas at San Antonio.  Our team competes at the state and national level against other collegiate teams in the USA Powerlifting Association.

What is powerlifting?

In powerlifting, you compete in 3 lifts, squat, bench, & deadlift, and you have a total for these 3. You compete against your own gender and against people in your weight class.

When & where do we compete?

We will be competing in 2 to 4 meets a year.  Some of the meets we compete at include:  the UT meet, the Texas A&M meet, the state meet for Texas, and the national meet for those who qualify(see qualifying totals below).
