NEWS: ************NOTICE************* 2008 Tryouts will begin on August 6th! 2008 Tryout Information As summer begins so does training for the 2008 Field Hockey Season!!! Tryouts will begin August 6th, so get ready!! I have updated the website the tryout schedule so please check it out. We ENCOURAGE everyone but especially 8th and 9th Graders to tryout for YHS Field Hockey! Last year we had a fun and successful Freshman Team! We hope to repeat the success again this year! So spread the word to everyone and hope for a great turnout by all!! PLEASE COME PREPARED FOR TRYOUTS OR CLINIC WITH ALL THE NECESSARY PHYSICAL FORMS AND EMERGENCY CONTACT CARD! You can find these forms at the Student Activities Office at YHS. The Physical Form can also be found on the Yorktown High School Sports Website Field Hockey Clinic: We are having, again, an optional Field Hockey Clinic for beginners and returning players who are going to be trying out for YHS Field Hockey. They will be held on August 5th 4:30 - 6:30 pm. You will need to have completed physical forms and emergency card to participate in clinic Summer Camp Information: Also, use the link on the left to get additional information on Summer camp opportunities! I strongly suggest going to at least one.
