Happy Spring
Chuck and I have been blessed to shared our lives with some special companion Borzoi since 1986. River Bend Borzoi was established in 1998 when Chuck gave me a beautiful Borzoi puppy for Christmas. That puppy, "Zephyr" Nickolai Yenoty Saggitta, came into our lives thanks to Bonnie Nichols of Nickolai Borzoi (Thompson, Ohio) and he became my first show dog. The following Christmas, another special puppy, "Zavielle" Avalon Field of Dreams, came into our lives thanks to Sandra Moore of Avalon Borzoi (Quebeck, TN). "Ziaza" Nickolai Ryndar River Aziza, came to me as a belated Christmas Gift from Chuck in early 2003.

I train and successfully show my own Borzoi in AKC Conformation Shows, AKC and ASFA Lure Coursing Trials, and AKC Obedience Trials. My adult Borzoi are certified by TDI (Therapy Dog International) and we provide pet therapy visits to area nursing homes and hospitals-something I encourage you all to do! River Bend Borzoi has been privileged to be a foster home and provide love and care for Rescue Borzoi for Carol Backers, National Borzoi Rescue Foundation. I have also assisted Nickolai Borzoi with training and socializing Borzoi puppies and adults. All Borzoi who stay with me are treated like family.

My Borzoi and I are avid year-round hikers (even though we live in the snowbelt zone of NE Ohio) and we actively participate in Geocaching-see the link for more information. I've written articles for Bozoi Digest (international breed magazine). Chuck and I belong to the Ashtabula Kennel Club and Midwest Borzoi Club (MBC) and I belong to the Borzoi Club of America (BCOA). I also belong to the NEOGeocachers Group of Northeastern Ohio and the NWPAgeocachers group of NW PA. Chuck is an Engineering Specialist and he enjoys working on classic cars. I am a medical professional. I'm an avid reader and I enjoy movies, adventure travel, crafts (rubber stamping, etc.), computer related interests, swimming, snowshoeing, alternative medicine, baking (for dogs and humans), making Borozi Jewelry, and more. Ultimately though, my Borzoi are my life and I enjoy spending most of my free time with them. Thank you for visiting my website. I designed it myself and will update it as needed. I would appreciate it if you would sign my guestbook below. Marilyn
