Right to Live Society for Down Syndrome, a registered Palestinian NGO located in Gaza City, has been working since 1993 in the Field of Rehabilitation of Down Syndrome.

Hundreds of disabled children and their families are served annually at RLS through special education, speech therapy, an audiology, speech therapy, vocational training, parents and community training and awareness raising program.

The Society which started in a rented small villa for 13 children in 1993, now operates from a new constructed buildings over 9000 sq. meters and serves about 400 children, their ages ranging between few months to 15 years. 100 staff members provide a comprehensive special education program.

The buildings consist of a special education school, KG, vocational training workshops and a playground with spacious gardens.

In addition to the professional services that RLS provides, the Society is the main resource center in Down Syndrome Rehabilitation and in training for colleges, universities students and other interested professionals.
