All the usual ones (except for the domestic cups, I have to work on that still. though there is already a cupwinner: IFK Goteborg!

Ok the new season has started. A new season and now a new site for me: Kaiser has helped me into a new coat. Follow me to http://www.uclpredictions.ucoz.com and have a look. I also have put there the latest versions I currently have available of my sheets.
As the 07/08 season only has some final administrative decisions to be left, like what will happen with CSKA and Steaua, will they get a license/be punished or not for the coming season.
Still the new season has already started. Today the first teams will already have been eliminated. That is of course 'only' from the Intertoto Cup, but it means the end of hope already for some teams that maybe even hoped to get to the 'real'tournament. Like teams from Poland and Croatia, countries that both were at the EC, of that you might expect teams to get further than the first round. But it also is still summer vacation there.
I started with making the predicted country and teamraanking for at the end of the year. As this predictions let the higher coefficient team win, it is logical that not too much changes. Yet. What can be seen is that Russia seems to keep up with Gemany and France rather then stay a bit behind them, like Holland and Portugal. This can be caused of course because Russia has only 4 teams. They are the last that can profit from it: being on the way up, and still only have 4 teams to divide points by. Will Russia send anothe rtema to the final? Can Zenit perform in the CL? Still a lot of questions that will take a couple of months still before they will be answered. My own PSV, e.g., have lost 2 keyplayers: keeper Gomes and attacker Farfan. It kind of seems hopeless. Of course I have thought so before, without it resulting in a real bad performance, but..... We'lll see. Also the CL0910 and UC0910 are available, though not with the latest standings of the leagues. They have the new format.
