	Information and roadblocks in researching my Howington line.

This site is mainly in memory of my GGGGrandfather Noel Howington and GGGrandfather Joseph Howington who fought for the Confederate Army during the Civil War. Noel's sons William, Alford, and Jabez also served the Confederacy. If you are related to this line click on Some Links . Under Other Howingtons you can find material I have collected while searching for Noel's parents. I am presenting the information as I found it, leaving any corruption of first and last name. If I have a JPEG or GIF of the original document or other information, I have provided a popup. Just click the link and a floating window will appear.
