| My grandfather, Patrick Gallinagh, who lived most of his life in Ballyshannon was an engine driver with the County Donegal Railway (CDRJC). My only real memory of him is when he used to let me sit next to him when he drove a railcar down to Creevy and Rossnowlagh. He did this on Sundays when he went down the line to fetch people wanting to attend mass.
