Hi there! My name is Reverend Yvonne Dugay, an ordained minister since 1995. I attended the Living Waters Bible Center, in Lake Elsinore, California. Pastor Burt Hakanassan, himself, ordained me. It's a moment that I am very proud of.

It’s your wedding. And you want everything to be perfect! I can help you plan the wedding ceremony of your dreams! You say you want to write your vows?(the part said during the exchanging of rings) Certainly. Please do. This is after all your wedding. Someone wants to read a poem, sing a song, or play a song on an instrument. I say, "Yes. Why not?" This is after all, your wedding.

Also, for that added touch of romance, I offer a Unity Candle, Ribbon, Wine, Rose ceremony, and for those special people, your children from a previous relationship,the Family Promise, for FREE.

You want something more romantic for your elopment than getting married in a judge's chamber? Call me. Give me an hour's notice, and I will surprise you with a lovely and very romantic setting; I'll even throw in, FREE, a Unity Candle or Wine Ceremony to give you that extra touch of romance!

Now, you are probably wondering if I am willing to travel. The answer is, "yes." I live in Colorado Springs and do travel to locations wihin the Springs area. If the location is within 15 miles, there is no extra charge. If the location is over 20 miles, but under 30, there is a small charge added for gas. That's fair, isn't it? I also perform weddings at my home, (in nice weather I have an outside gazebo(Seasonal!) and a beautiful covered deck! For that smaller, more intimate wedding of 20 people or less I have a beautiful living room.(at 1130 Nolte Drive W in Colorado Springs

My rates are very very reasonable. I understand the burden of the costs of weddings today. (for brief ceremonies I charge $85, for formal ceremonies I charge $175, and for elopements with no more than two witnesses, I charge $75.) Let me help you plan your wonderful day. I can help you make this the wedding that you always dreamed of! I will listen to your dreams and help you make them come true!

Colorado Marriage License Information

Get your Marriage License in Colorado — in any county's Clerk & Recorder Office — within 30 days of the ceremony. If you are traveling to Colorado from another state, travel plans must take into account that their office hours are Monday through Friday only.

While you are applying for your License at the County office, please carefully check the spelling of your names and the accuracy of the other information on the License. Making corrections later can be a hassle, especially if you do not live near the office from which your License was obtained.

At a minimum, have your Marriage License in your possession when you come to the ceremony. If you live in the Colorado Springs area, please be sure to bring the Marriage License to the Minister ahead of time.

Because witnesses are not required in Colorado, I encourage couples to have those who are dear to them — including children — to sign as witnesses. The signatures of your family and special friends on your Marriage Certificate will mean a lot to you in the years that follow.
