Shakya
Family |

The
founder of repousse art is Punya Raj Shakya. Born in the "Shakya Family",
he is the master in repousse work. He carried out his expedition in arts
and crafts from Tibet and later in Nepal. He taught the repousse works of
art to his son Yek Raj Shakya and ultimately to his grand sons Dinesh and
Dipendra.
This "Shakya
Family" have done lots of effort in the origination of temples and
monastries. We are also involved in fine unique curio-works. We do repousse
in copper, silver, brass, iron, bronze, gold and any kind of metal-alloys.
The motto of
the "Shakya Family" is to provide employment to the repousse artists
and promote repousse work to the rest of the world. |
