Have you
ever wandered whether to buy or rent ?
Is buying the best alternative, or is renting more cost effective ?
After much research and many painstaking hours of development and
testing, I have developed a Rent VS Buy
calculator which takes into account the relevent costs and duties
associated with home and rental situations for Victorian residents.
All you need is Microsoft Excel to use the Rent vs Buy spreadsheet.

A. This report expects YOU to

- enter your tax rate
- enter a percentage for what the value you believe the home will appreciate
- nominate how many years you expect to live in the house you wish to
purchase
- enter a purchase price for the hous
- enter an interest rate for investing the money you would have used as
the deposit,
Q. Can I use this calculator to for investment property scenarios ?
A. No. This calculator is specifically suited to determining whether
