Install styrofoam outside the sponson chines before applying the skins.  Also, install blind nuts while you can get to them.
Rear Sponsons channel the air into a smaller area, providing lift...
Thin out some epoxy with denatured alcohol, using a foam brush, apply a light coat over everything except the engine compartment, radio box, and strut compartment.  This will be done later.
Fill in compartments with styrofoam, make sure all pieces are flush, or better yet, below the stringers.
Using small thumbtacks, secure the cockpit side of the deck skin, using bungee cords, styrofoam scraps, and electrical tape, make sure the deck contacts the stringers completely, or it will buzz when the engine revs.
After the deck is done, trim all overhanging edges, and glue in leading edge blocks.
Hull is upside down, i have a combination square showing the slight bevel on the bottom of the sponson pads.  This helps the boat ride true in the water.
Sponson tips and spray deflector shown
If you look at the sponson sides, only the left side has a  bevel.  This keeps the boat from "tripping" in a turn.
The right sponson pad has no bevel, it just comes straight down.
Dumas plans can be confusing, but hopefully, this page will help a lot of you complete your boat with as little frustration as possible.  If you do need any more help, please feel free to contact me.
