| 7-28: Unconfirmed reports of a Beta code from Gamestop with a SOCOM Confrontation pre-order are starting to pile up on the SOCOM.com forums. This may be a good time to call your local Gamestop and ask about this. The Beta invites are probably limited in number and would work on a first come first serve basis. 7-15: Some very interesting news from Zipper int. came to light today at E3. It seems Zipper's next game will be called MAG(working title) short for Massive Action Game. Some of the details were shocking. MAG will feature game sizes of 256 players broken into 8 man teams. Each team will have a captain. There will be vehicles. It will be interesting to see how this works out. The release date currently is TBA 2009. Information on this and other E3 happenings can be found on most of the gaming sites. 7-4: Happy 4th of July everyone! 7-2: It's official. SOCOM.com has posted that the release date of SOCOM Confrontation will be delayed until 10/14. There is still no word on when the Beta test versions will begin. The middle of July still sounds likely. |
