1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport
This Beast is powered by a 351-Cleveland Engine, with Hooker headers Eldebrock Performer intake and a Holley 4160 carb, and a beaten C-6 tranny behind it.The color was factory, Bright Green Gold Metallic. It looks like someone had a Maaco paint job on it. It has Cragar SS rims on all four corners and 15x10 on the back and 14x7 on the front with BFG's wrapped on all. The front seats have been replaced with '77 Thunderbird seats. It needs to be repainted, and my passenger door is too rusted to fix, so I need a newer one. The Rear end is a 9in Ford, with 3.70 Posi, and with my engine/tranny combo I got the speedometer up to 131MPH.

In May of 2003, The Beast had an unfortunate , fatal engine problem. A piston had sanpped, sucked up into the oil pump, jammed the pump, grinded the gear off of the distributor, and ending it's life. Intill Febuary of '04, when tons of $$ and time was spent into getting this baby rollin' again! Please click on the link below to view all the hard work that was put into it . April 24,2004 On the way to the track, it was crashed! Well in August of '04, I "sold " my Torino, after the wreck, the frame was found to be twisted, so I told a buddy that he could have the car for $250 if he took it off of my property and brought the drivetrain back. Haven't heard from him, and I'm starting to get mad!

Well, I've been thinking of buying another '72 fastback. And i talked to the guy that has my old one, he said it looks exactly the same as the day it left my yard. So i figure, if I get a "new" one, get my old one, I could combine the two. I've learned alot more in 2 years, so i could build a lot better of a car. Still want the same look though
