Welcome to Ramananda Chakrabarti's webpage

I am a fifth year (darn...time flies) graduate student in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Rochester, NY, USA. I am working with Prof. A.R.Basu and my research focuses on applying Nd, Sr, Pb, Hf isotopes, REE and other trace elements as tracers of Earth processes. I have completed my Masters in Applied Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India in 2001 and my Bachelors from Presidency College, Kolkata, India in 1999.
