Fredy JAOFERA or RAKOTOMALALA Eric Fredy Jaofera was born on April 30, 1962 in Antananarivo (Madagascar).He is the elder son of Eugène L.RAKOTOMALALA and Elise RAJAOFERA. They are two brothers as children of their parents. He wrote his first poem entitled "MY TEARS" in 1974 when he was twelve years old in "Park and Workshops of Public Works "( Parc et Ateliers des Travaux Publics) at Alarobia Amboniloha and has not ceased writing until now here abroad.His poems have already appeared in the Malagasy newspapers such as MATIN, MIDI, ATRIKA, TRIBUNE, HEHY ; the Malagasy magazines MANOLOTSAINA and NY MPAMANGY and boky written by UPEM ( The Malagasy Poets and Writers Union ) as SANTA-BARY, VELONA HO VELONA NY TENY SY HAISORATRA MALAGASY, NY RENIKO NY TENIKO and SANTA-BOKATRA. |

Fredy JAOFERA's poems deal with all domains of life : God, love, homeland, sadness and so on...In 1992, he has become member of the Malagasy Poets and Writers Union.He is married and has got three sons. He is a teacher, an educator and a computer scientist.His favourite pastime is playing chess. He is the Vice-President of the Malagasy Poets and Writers Union in France.
