Welcome to my collection of Lotus Esprits . . .
Chassis #454H
Chassis # 155H Chassis # 260H
260H is still relatively early production, but is one of the first S1s with a lacquer finish -- Carnival Red.  The interior is black, and was retrimmed years ago when the car was repainted its original color.  Otherwise, this is an extremely original S1, down to details like the mirros, exhaust, and other trim.  I have owned and enjoyed it since 1999.
454H is a later S1, probably among the last S1s to still have a single headlight motor and battery located below the quarterlight.  It is one of the harder-to-find colors -- Oxford Blue -- and wears its original paint finish.  Interior is brown/beige, expertly retrimmed in leather several years ago.  I have owned it for a few months now.
155H is an early S1.  It is one of the cars with the experimental "in the mold" gel-coat-like paint finish.  The interior was originally brown/beige, but I am almost finished retrimming it in a saddle colored full-grain, aniline-dyed leather.  It is an ongoing project, and will be back on the road soon.
I try to update this site a few times per year.  Usually I talk a lot.  For this update, I will just post a bunch of photos of the cars.  I'll probably add captions to them in the near future, but for now, enjoy this collage of views of the Lotus Esprit S1 . . . ..

A few words about the blue S1:

If you've visited this page before, you probably recognize that the blue car is new to me.  I purchased it in May of 2007 from Orlando, Florida.  This particular car is reasonably well-known among S1/S2 enthusiasts, having been owned by a handful of dedicated enthusasts who were all active in the Lotus club and/or the online community.  If you ever visited a web site called
The Tampa Esprit Fact File, this is that same car.  I first saw photos of it six or seven years ago when still in the care of its second owner, and always liked the car.  I liked the color combination, the fact that it has been well cared for, and that it has air conditioning.  I am very glad to own it today!  It runs and drives just as an S1 should, and I'm enjoying it!
