Club Events include : 

1) Monthly meeting club runs: our first Wednesday of the month night meeting (except January) 

2) Monthly outing club runs  

3) Special club runs : long distance run e.g. nationals, or a one-off significant event 

These are identified on the following list by a pink title.  

All other listed events (including the regular events at the bottom) are optional club runs. Members wishing to attend are to make their own arrangements.

Members attending any of these runs in a ‘Special Interest Vehicle’ registered car should either print out a copy of this list to take with them, or take along their club magazine.

 

 

 

19 July 2009 - Monthly Outing Club Run Redlands Touring Run to Mount Cotton Rainforest Gardens and Redland Bay Hotel. Members to meet at BP Yatala 8.30am for a 9.00am departure.

19 July 2009 – Swap and Natter Day at Mt Cotton Hillclimb.  Swap meet for car and machinery only, gates open 7:30am.  $10 for stall holders.  Hillclimb is located on Gramzow Rd off Mt Cotton Rd at Mt Cotton. MG Car Club of Qld

26 July 2009 – Chev Super Sunday Show and Shine.  Eight Mile Plains Primary School, Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains

8 August 2009- Ormeau ‘Wheelie Fun 2009’ Car show and Fair. At oval behind shops, off Peachey Rd Exit, Ormeau. Organised by Cadillac LaSalle Club and Lions club of Ormeau. Runs from 10am to 4pm.  Free Admission.  http://www.ormeaufair.com.au

9 August 2009 - Monthly Outing Club Run.16th Annual Back to 63 Classic Car Show & Shine, Swap Meet at North Ipswich Park, Pine Street, North-East end of the Town Bridge, Ipswich, QLD. Brisbane UBD map 213 G13, all classic cars and hot rods are welcome and need to be in place by 9am, a cruise to the event is leaving from BP Archerfield Truckstop, Boundary Rd, Rocklea (Details available from the website) popular band "Guitars & Cadillacs" will play throughout the day, swap meet, memorabilia and other stalls unique to the Rock 'n' Roll era are planned, entertainment is planned for the kids and a floor for your dancing pleasure, vendors can incorporate new or used Rock 'n' Roll clothing, retro and other associated items, over 40 trophies on offer including some unusual and fun categories, also a special trophy for best-represented club, for more info Ph Allan (07) 3818 1189 (ah) or email backto63@jri.com.au, entry forms can be down loaded from the web www.jri.com.au/events.htm.  Members to meet at BP Boundary Road, Rocklea at 8.00am for an 8.30am departure as part of the organised cruise to the event.  Local members can meet us just outside the show (at North Ipswich Park, on The Terrace).

15 August 2009 - Willowbank Raceway Super Swap - Hot Rod, Drag Racing, Street Machine, Vintage, Auto Memorabilia, Auto Collectables. Gates are open 5.30am for traders and 6.00am to 11am for buyers, Trader Sites $10 (includes one person), Buyers $3, kids 13 and under free.

16 August 2009 - Gold Coast Street Rodders Swap Meet and Car Show, Mudgeeraba Showgrounds. Enter from Mudgeeraba Rd. $5 entry. 22 August 2009 - Lockyer Valley Sound and Noise Spectacular, at Murphy’s Creek Cricket Grounds, Murphys Creek. 30 August 2009 - Monthly Outing Club Run Watts Bridge Airshow. Members to meet at BP Blacksoil at 7.30am for an 8.00am departure. Toowoomba members to contact Stuart Cooper (0746 154 090), for the cruise to Esk to meet up with us, for a 9.00am departure from Esk.
