Photography and Christian Faith

pwklau@hotmail.com

Welcome to this fun web site about Christian Faith through photography. My name is Peter Lau and in here you will find photography as an expression of my Christian Faith. I like to think of photography as capturing God's beautiful creation and freeze it. I like to inspire viewers through my photographs with bible verses so that one can meditate and search within themselves the true meaning of their Christian Faith. Everyone responds differently from these photographs since God speaks to each of us in different way and means.

Thank you brothers and sisters for dropping by. Email me and I welcome any comment you have or just say hello. It is nice to know that someone out there supports this humble journey of mine. Please enjoy your stay and God bless.

Be still and know that I am God....Psalm 46:10

The world is continuous moving around us. Can we be still for a moment? Is it being still that difficult to do? How do we get to know God? Being still is the first step. How can we make a step and be still at the same time? The step is to stop moving forward or backwards (be still) but to move the first step upwards towards him inorder to know Him.
How comforting this is to anyone that is at their moment of weakness. Is it power or grace that is promised to us at our time of weakness? It is sufficient grace that is promised to us to carry us through our weakness which makes us fully aware of the power of our Lord.

My grace is sufficient for you,
for my power is made in weakness....2 Cor 12:9

The grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God will stand forever......
Is 40:8

Can we count on something that cannot stand the test of time? Do you know that His word will stand forever? We will fade like the flower and wither like the grass but His word will stand. What is his word? Do you understand his word? Do you know the word of our God?

A great daily reminder for us. I think this is how we can live each day to its fullest. Just to forget our past is hard without the active role of straining forward to the future. Put all your effort to what lies ahead so you can without any effort free your mind from what lies behind.

Forgetting what lies behind and
straining forward to what lies ahead....Phil 3:13
