We are a group of parents whose children have been diagnosed with mental illnesses and disorders of varying degrees, who no longer have custody or are fighting for custody of our children due to either having to voluntarily place them with the government in order to obtain the help they need or have had our children taken by the government due to the child having mental illnesses or disorders. We have banded together to spread awareness about children's mental health issues, how it affcts the ENTIRE family, and what happens when you approach the government for help. Through this site, we hope to educate, share our sorrows, triumphs and experiences about living with a child who suffers from mental illness, and the end results. For those of you who have not experienced life with a child who has mental illnesses, you may find our stories hard to believe. They are not works of fiction. They are true...... only the names have been changed to protect the children. Please browse through our site, and read our stories. *We are are not  here to place blame on any specific organizations, professionals, or other individuals involved in our particular cases. However, they do bare a large responsibility for many of the heart-breaking out-comes.
