| As most Beatle fans know, back in 1968 (some even date it back to 1966), Paul McCartney perished in a firey car crash, causing the Fab Three other guys to find somebody else to pose as the "cute one." R. Gary Patterson explores this phenomenon in his book, The Walrus was Paul. I loved reading this book and every Beatle fan should have a go at it. Hysterical in most parts, fascinating in others. Did Paul die? Well, all clues point to "Yes." Gather your albums for we'll search and discuss each sign within. The vinyl covers of yesteryear work best because they're bigger than the CD's covers of today. You will need: Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, and the ultimate clue keepers, the Beatles (aka White Album), Abbey Road. Give Paul a little touch and off we go! Roll up roll up for the magical mystery tour step right this way! |

| LINKS: Round One: Music has been a big part of my life since I can remember. Even though I don't have the voice or talent to make it, I have a deep deep cosmic love and respect for the music of the past and most of the music of today. The Beatles did revolutionize music back in 1963, but they got their soul and love for it from others before them. Bluegrass, country, and of course names like Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and Chuck Berry always come up when asked who they liken themselves to. To your right, on this magical mystery tour of the Great Melee, are links to various music sights. All you have to do is click on the underlined destination of your choice. Enjoy. |
