Welcome to CoolLabel !!
What is CoolLabel? Create labels for CD , JAZ, ZIP,Floppy , VHS , 4mm, 8mm or any other media quickly. Just open up a label, select your source (ie CD ROM drive), and print the label. For those of you with CD Audio disks that have been separated from their jewel cases, If the templates aren't to your liking then create your own - draw the templates, include graphics and intelligent drawing primitives to handle the directory information.

CD - Drop your CD into the CDROM drive and open up a template.
If you have a data or MP3 CD, double click on the label to access the Directory Information dialog. From this dialog you can select the CD drive, read the information off of the CD and format the information for print. You can filter out filetypes, move files around, choose fonts and color...lots more.
Title the CD spines, print and cutout the label. Lastly, just fold along the lines and place it into an empty CD case. Done! Checkout the download section for an avi if you need help.
Zip/JAZ/Floppy - Place your media in the drive and open up the appropriate Zip or JAZ template. Notice that multiple templates are provided on one piece of paper. Double click on one of the labels and use the Directory Information Dialog to read data off the Zip/JAZ disk. Once you've formatted the printout I'd recommend printing onto one of the Avery sticker sheets or use tape/glue to stick the label to the disk.
VHS - The VHS label is all text based. Open up the VHS template, enter a label title and set the font styles. If you have a picture to add just drag and drop from the explorer or use the image icon on the toolbar to select a specific file. Remember that if you want the text on top of the picture to move the picture back in the stacking order. Select "Lower" from the "Drawing" menu until the picture is at the stacking order you desire. Once again, I'd recommend the Avery sticker sheets. You can print on those, cut them out and then affix them to your tape.
4mm/8mm - like the VHS label these are text-based. Open up the appropriate template, enter a label title and set the font styles. Follow the directions for the VHS label above if you want a picture on your label.
Tailored - If you have a label which is not covered you can always create your own. Remember that all the templates provided with CoolLabel were produced with CoolLabel. The CoolLabel help file has a section dedicated to creating your own labels.
Just open up a template...
Tailor the directory information,
and you have your label!
