Welcome to CD/DVD Review Section
UPDATE: JANUARY 1st, 2008
This is an unique reviews site done by fans of progressive music, not a bunch of journalists, thus giving a slightly different approach to the CD/ DVD reviewing process. In the end, it's really the fan's opinion that truly matters to the artists/bands.
Since the beginnings of ProgNaut.com in 2001, I've added a staff of like-minded people to help me out on the overflow, Currently assisting me in reviews are; Terry Jackson [TJ], Vikie Martel [VM] and Joseph Shingler [JS]. I may add more in 2008, if the submissions increase.
Since all of the reviewers have offline responsiblities, such as full time jobs, CDs generally are reviewed appoximately 45-60 days from the receipt and DVDs appoximately 60-90 days of the reciept. It may take a little longer but I can guarantee from artist responses of past reviews, that it's worth the wait. There will be at least four (4) reviews posted every week. The reviews are announced on the ProgNaut.com update list (please join if you haven't done so already) as well as a satellite site over at MySpace.com.
If you're sending an unsolicted submission(s) please be sure to include a current email address and a short bio or your website link in the package. Please click HERE to see where to send your submsisions. All CD/DVD submissions are subject to a "first come, first serve" policy. Sorry no exceptions unless it's a pre-release copy (sent at least 2 months before release date). Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
